Melt Out fabric is a stretchable and economical overhead trade show ceiling fabric to be used ceilings over exhibitions, trade show booths, and museum displays.
The fabric diffuses and softens light, and provides large surface area coverage.
Melt Out is a woven, synthetic textile with a single, fusible thread that runs the length of the fabric, placed in parallels once every 12 inches across the width.
The fusible thread that is woven into the fabric will melt when the fabric is exposed to a temperature of 160° Fahrenheit or higher, allowing for smoke to disperse and water from sprinklers to come through. Should the temperatures rise enough for the fabric to react, it will contract into small, bunched lines of material and allow for the water from the sprinklers to reach the floor mostly unimpeded.
Melt Out passes the NFPA 701 standard, which means the fabric itself is resistant to ignition and slow to spread any flame.
